Whoops!

So, I thought I would be a little more diligent in my blogging but I got too busy living and had to put this on the back burner for a bit...

This month has been full of good things! I've gotten to know my French family a bit more, made a few friends(Ah! French friends!!), and even started sewing! More on that later.
Here are a few snaps from this month.
Finally found a Starbucks in Friburg, Germany

Dear Colmar, you're doing it right.

Looking forward to another good month!

Home sweet home

Switzerland is insanely gorgeous. Like, take your breath away, don't want to blink in fear of missing something kind of gorgeous.

My first view was flying over the Swiss Alps just as the sun was rising- what a welcome! After I landed and found my ride I was surprised with a full day of running around Switzerland. We walked around Zurich for a few hours, saw the Rhine-falls, and made our way to Basel for lunch, boat rides and a bit of thrifting! It was a full day that ended with a good walk around Mulhouse- my home sweet home for the upcoming weeks.

I also got to hang out with the kids I'll be watching! And they're pretty much awesome. So excited to get to know them!

See ya later, America!

Last night in New York! It's been a great weekend catching up with old friends and exploring the city. Tromped around thrift stores on the lower east side, had a panic attack in the Toys R Us in Times Square and caught a glimpse of lady liberty. Nothing better.

I love how there is ALWAYS something going on here! Springfield,Missouri needs to step up it's game!

Now it's time to enjoy the rest of the night and get ready for the last leg of this journey to Mulhouse. Just an 8 hour flight to Zurich then a 2 hour car ride to France.
Je suis prĂȘt!

Just the beginning

Made it to Chicago from St.Louis today! I was dreading the nine hour wait for my second train to New York but it's been super nice to walk around and explore the city a bit!

The trip has been eventful so far despite having started only a day ago, I've had the chance to talk with some amazing people and have been blown away at their kindness.

Only a few more days in the U.S. then it's off to Mulhouse to see what God has to show me there!
